RV Water Heater door

Ok, the plastic tab broke on me 4 weeks ago, replaced it with one off of ebay and going home yesterday it must have popped open and the spring and clip is gone. Is there a way to put a lock on it?

lol thanks... I was figuring something similar had to work. Ok will snap a few pictures of it this weekend when Im over there. Im just annoyed it popped off and I made sure it was closed properly. I thought about a nut and bolt but figured it would vibrate loose.

Yeah thats what popped off. I ordered a pair of them 3 weeks ago because the plastic tab on mine bent a little and it kept popping off. I think I want a better solution. The pieces it goes into are fine...guess it bounced enough times that it shifted over and popped off.

Once you install the newer metal ones, just put a small lock thru the hoop or a paper clip will work.
