It is such a great use of space. And like someone said- using that area in front of the door IS genius. I love it when I see new, fresh ideas-the "outside the box" type of thinking.

Sara,
I checked out your blog and really appreciate the hard work you have put into your trailer to make it yours in every way. I love your life plan, fantastic! You are truly inspirational. Can't wait to see future posts once you are "in the thick of it". Best of luck to you and your companions!!
Laura

Sara, great job on your trailer. I envy you ..your spirit of adventure...the ability to just go ahead and do this.

I did see that your cancer may put a damper on your start date. My prayers are with you...when the wind blows hard ..just adjust your sails and go for the ride. Better days are ahead.

God speed woman......keep me posted on where life takes you

It looks stunning! Very impressed. I like the copper covering and the sink. Did you drill a hole to allow the sink to drain?

Thank you so much everyone. While I was renovating I was very excited to share the final product so all the wonderful comments mean a lot.

I'm glad you like the use of space in front of the door. The original design is well done so there wasn't much unused area. That's what led me to consider the door area. I think I'll get a ton of use out of the pantry since I hate going to the store. And there's very little counter space so I can envision the desk area coming in handy for cooking prep, sewing, editing images, etc. I guess I'll know how functional it all is once I've lived in it a bit.

Those of you that caught the fact that the copper sink/bowl isn't hooked up yet - good eye! I actually need a plumber to finish that job. The drainage hole in the base has now been drilled, but that happened after I'd done my pictures.

I want to say that the comments about my blog and journey are touching. The cancer came as such a surprise. I'm glad my daughter encouraged me to blog about it all. I think it's been good for my soul. And the fact that it has helped me to connect with others is very healing.

Thanks again, everyone! I hope to meet you on the road.
