Great mods David. Very impressive. I have done a few of the same ones.

Thanks for mention of the Scamp page on my blog, David. I noticed a fair amount of traffic coming from FiberglassRV the last couple days.

I just installed LED taillights, and on Saturday afternoon a blog post will publish about a stove exhaust hood vent installation. Info on the actual exhuast hood construction and installation will have to wait until the slow boat from China shows up with the fans I ordered. I should have the new door latch installation finished up in the next day or two with a post about it sometime next week I suppose.

I'm hearing parts for my shock installation should be showing up the end of the week so thats another future mod post. Meanwhile, I'm having fun. Again, thanks for the shout out.

Amazing blog

John,

Your blog is an amazing resource for Scamp 19 modifications. I'm happy to have shared it with FGRV folks.

I recently replaced our door latch with a Fastec and used https://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/...3435/lightbox/ as my inspiration and guide along with help from Darrel on Scampers. The new latch is a huge improvement over the factory model. We only paid around $25 for it on Amazon. Scamp should convert to using these latches. They can't cost more than a few dollars more than their current ones.

Keep on doing the mods and writing the blog and I'll keep reading.

Thanks for sharing,

David
