Scamp Interior Light Switch

Does anyone know where I can find a plastic switch that fits on the old style (1994) Scamp interior lights, like what is in the picture?

It's the black plastic tab that slides back and forth. (On some lights, it was white).

Bite the bullet and replace them with LED fixtures.

Switch

My switch wasn't working, so I took the light apart, cleaned it, put it back together again, and it worked. Then I switched the bulb for an LED

Our actual switch is working on the light, just the plastic piece that you slide to make it easier to push the switch seems to have fallen off. I too put in LED bulbs recently. That's when I noticed the plastic slide was missing.

keep shopping on Ebay for vintage square RV lights and sooner or later the ones you are looking for pop up. You wont like the price since anything with vintage in the title comes at a premium. There are probably a hundred offshoots of these lights so watch for the switches or lens covers if you want the exact same fixture.

You could go to the local HS or college and ask if they have a 3D printer and need a project. Small 3D printers are perfect for things like this.

Hi Bob - if your old lights have that switch, I'll take them (or just the switch). I'm in zip code 30734. You can PM me the shipping quote.
