Has anyone seen or made supports for the front window stone guard to hold it open to let sunlight in while camping instead of taking it off?

Nick,

I made mine out of PVC and a hitch pin. The following is the link to my Photos folder on Yahoo. Within it you will find several pictures of my struts and a diagram of how I made them. When they are attached they are rock solid in any wind condition.

After all summer looking for a replacement for the ones that fell off the 80 Boler, I also used 3/4 PVC pipe, cut on proper angle and sloted on the end to fit the rock guard.
The lower end utilized the existing anchor but any angle piece could work.
The top end was notched and also drilled to recieve a 1/4 inch bolt and wing nuts finished the job.
