Scamp Windows

In the next few months I will begin my revamp of my Scamp.
New Windows being a must, please don't try to change my mind in keeping the Jalousie windows.
They are old and rusted. NOW, does anyone have suggestions for replacements?
My Scamp is 1990 model, and the windows don't seem to be available for them on either side of the dinning/sleeping area.
The Jalousies seem to be either smaller or larger, any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

My 1988 Scamp has those new fangled radius sliders. I'd trade you in a minute if they'd fit! Dang it...

Here's the dilemma

Our issue is that Scamp doesn't provide windows for all types of Scamps.
I can only imagine the money they are losing as people look to upgrade.
Although getting new windows is not written in stone,
I would like to freshen up the look.
I could replace the current glass with tinted glass and make it darker, or copper colored glass.
But I'm getting way ahead of myself.
However I do have good news, my new covers are on their way along with a new "scamp" tire cover.
So I won't have to throw some sheets over the foam, but will be able to enjoy new, fang dangle covers (blue).

Because you have windows with square corners and if you go with the radius corners, you'll either need bigger windows or do fiberglass work. One is going to be expensive the other time consuming.

I didn't know aluminum rusted... is it from some of the connectors? After seeing Danny's & Dawn's Scamp (he rebuilt the windows), all I can say is WOW.

The interior mechanism connecting the unit still functions but is rusted, but before I leap, I will check all options. Where can I see Danny and Dawn's Scamp?

I bought a scamp jalousie side window that has radius corners and put it in our Uhaul. About $150 plus shipping. Nice window!

Hey Tomkat

I do still have both of them, however I think I'm going to keep them, and see if a little lubrication will work out any kinks. One of the glass panels has a crack and I have to have that replaced.
But I think they are available if you continue to look.
Best to you.
