screen door variation
Our screen door is finished. We found that piano hinges gave so much strength it was possible to just use the screen frame itself as the door. It weighs next to nothing. It has not been field tested, but so far so good. OK Let's see how the photos do:<img src=http://www.fiberglassrv.com/board/uploads/3f08a7abea618door1.jpg/> <img src=http://www.fiberglassrv.com/board/uploads/3f08a7c3975f1door2.jpg/> <img src=http://www.fiberglassrv.com/board/uploads/3f08a7dc11184door3.jpg/>

Thanks guys. Nancy: This door is neither square or true. We count on it binding to keep it closed! Thanks for all the help. I still don't think we could make one like yours.:wave

I would be happy to tell you all about screen door construction. I am an expert now thanks to Nancy D. She was kind enough to email beautiful diagrams. The only thing I did differently is skip the whole wooden door frame. We made two screens from that do it yourself stuff at Lowes and screwed the piano hinges right into the frame. If you want I might be able to send Nancy's instructions to you, if she doesn't mind.

Thanks a million
Dear Maggie O.,
My thanks to you and Nancy D.
I like the simple effective approach you have taken. No doubt I will do something similar.
Have you decided on having a external shower yet?

Hi Tom,
I love your shower idea. We have a few too many irons in the fire to tackle anything else right now. Thank you for satisfying my curiousity. The infos been filed for future dreaming.

Is this good?
Princess Auto has screening available in their surplus here for $1.00 per foot (36" wide), is this a good price?

Thomas Haney - Outdoor Shower
Hi everyone. I was reading through the posts regarding the screen door and saw the post regarding an outdoor shower. I would love to hear more about that. I have been admiring one on the Prairie Bolerama site - Brad and Jen's. Sounds like a great idea.
TIA.:cheers
