Maybe you could put an adhesive felt circle on one of the magnets to soften its grab a little, and keep the pair from cracking in transit?

Regards,

Matt

Never had one crack in transit, but I've had the larger magnets shatter when I'm playing with them. That's bad because they shatter into tiny, sharp bits of heavy metals, and could get in your eye, and so you gotta clean them up.

The little ones I've used for magnetic catches have never had that problem. Not strong enough to smash or pinch fingers.

Beautiful work as usual. The door looks fantastic and the other new cabinet doors will also. I'm also a little picky about grain direction and such, though if I would have messed up one of my doors that matched the frame, I would have had to cut a new piece. I never say that you will be the only one that see the problem. I just brought my trailer to a friends house and his 18 year old son took a look at it, went straight to the 1/2" little run on the exterior paint and pointed it out. I just laughed and told my wife "see", never say no one else will ever see it.
