On a serious note, I have found that the solution for low overhead clearances, esp when wearing a cap with a bill that restricts upward vision, is to hang something like string, ribbon, etc. from the obstruction so that it falls into my horizontal view and I am warned to take care.

This is what I like about this forum. People are enthusiastic about their trailers, about the places they go, about the little projects they undertake to improve them, and now there's a topic entirely devoted to interior duckerating.

Does duckerating = quackery?

Frederick,
After a couple years training with your Compact Jr. and its 55" door, I would think you would have the "stop, drop, & enter" down pretty well.

How soon we forget!

I tell people that It requires genuflecting.

[b]gen·u·flect (verb)

1. To bend the knee or touch one knee to the floor or ground, as in worship.
2. To be servilely respectful or deferential; grovel.

Entering is not as problematic as exiting.

Thanks for the "rubber duckie," Frederick!

I ground those little suckers off and glued the critter up, as you can see.

Now maybe you could send one to Gina, but please include a little sign which says: "Never Mind!"

I have ALL of Freds Ducks..

in a row...

They somehow ended up in my car.. ALL of them. Maybe they imprinted on me... and followed... as ducks will do..

On a less serious note, us birdwatchers are trained to look UP when someone yells "Duck!!"
Maybe a visual reminder would work....

My wife donated this little lady for the trailer. I think she'll get the place of honour over the door.

Oh,Oh,
She who blows smoke is also a mother duck followed by ducklings? The plot appears to thicken

Kent,
The concept was Frederick's, but your wife is getting close to the prize for one-upsmanship! Her duck is very cute! Did she make it?
