belly band

Hi folks, everyone's trailers look so great. A question about the belly band. On my 73 Boler it is riveted with relatively large head rivets. I want to remove it for cleaning and what is the best way to reattach it. Rivets or bolts/screws?

Thanks Rob

On the belly band, I would just re-rivet as it was originally. The band is cosmetic, and the holes in the rivets will not lead into the trailer (where the joint is fiberglassed on the inside).
