Hi Folks,

Still and on-going project (aren't they all?), but thought we'd post a few "before" and "after" shots of our 1976 Boler.

IKEA shoppers will notice a few familiar items.

Great job!

Ikea rocks! My boler is Ikea decorated too. I think we have the same flooring.

Thanks - I guess what is good for small apartment living is also good for small trailers! The flooring is the ever-popular "Allure", in the "bamboo" motif. On sale, of course.

Ahhhh, my flooring is the bamboo flooring from Ikea. The Allure wouldn't stick to my pebbly fiberglass floor.

I LOVE your bright and invitiing colors! So nice to see someone have fun with their trailer interior and get away from those boring neutrals that have no personality and are a dime a dozen.

We hope to find an older trailer one of these days to remodel/refurbish for our daughter and I'm taking notes about what you've done. Nice job!

Looking good! What type of paint did you use on your cupboard cabinet doors? I have been thinking about doing this but want something that's durable but compatible with whatever vinyl cladding they wrapped my cupboard doors in.

Regards,

Matt

We used an acrylic latex, that was colour-matched at Home Depot to an IKEA placemat. I recall doing three coats, to ensure good coverage over the black. Inside the cupboards, we used a white melamine, and a pewter metallic spray paint on all the cupboard hardware.
