My brother sold his house and decided to full time it for several months. He and his wife have a teenage son, and a cat.

My brother is 6’ 2” tall. His Casita is the 17’ Liberty Deluxe. He tows with a 2006 GMC Yukon.

Some of the mods included a lengthening the tongue, replacing one propane tank with a Honda 2000 generator, adding a bicycle rack, and making a diamond plate box.

Other mods you we had done are satellite TV, and a screen room.

Here are some photos of the Mods.

I think this is the Florida Room in the Photo.

These are great, I have the older model which is grey in colour. They are designed to work with the Horizon (Fiamma) awning on the Casitas

It is Fiamma Florida Room - Florida Room - Screen Enclosure for the F45i. Very easy to set up. I was amazed, about 15 minutes.

We bought it from a VW dealer in Los Osos, CA. He will NOT help with any warranty if needed.

PS: The fit around the wall is not good. It is designed for a flat wall. My brother is going to fiddle with it.

They lived full time in it for about 6 months. They found a nice 20 acres in eastern Oregon with a little 2 bedroom, 1 bath ranch house on it.
My brother the RANCHER

The Casita is once again for trips and fun.

OUCH!
My brother is the one supervising. I’m the one with the welding helmet on.

PS: He will do fine as a rancher.

That's what I want to do to the front of my Casita. That's exactly what I want! Have welder and hack saw... (-:}

Sorry for bringing up this old old post but it has a lot of merit I think.
