Not quite done yet, but the push is on to finish for the road trip.
All l.p. lines are in as well as the gate valves for the plumbing. All wired in to the monitor

Just a few pictures of the kitchen backsplash and the bathroom which was the last major project before the maiden voyage. All plumbing and L.P. finished so we had heat and running water, at least for a little bit. I only put enough water in to test for leaks, etc. and unfortunately we ran out on the second day. With assistance from our helpful neighbours in the next campsite, things were quickly resolved. As it turns out they are also members of Fiberglass R.V. with a beautiful Escape trailer. Thanks again Mike and Maureen.
I have come home with a new list of things to do, but at least now we can use the trailer while I finish off the odds and ends.
Take care, Ken

Hey Ken. I was great to meet you and your wife. Hopefully our paths will cross again. I have often thought it would be a neat project to gut and redo a fiberglass trailer. But to gut one, then cut it in half and add a piece to the frame and body and put on a second axle - amazing. Your result is outstanding!

Well, you must be done by now and looking for something else to do. I just have a tiny 1300 trill with a couple FG repairs needed. Come on down! LOL No seriously. AMAZING! Lucky wife with such a handy guy and such incredible woodworking skills! Soooooo jealous!

Congratulations on a job well done, Ken. It was a huge project to begin with, but you have a unique trailer now. I also have a B17 and I'm looking forward to replacing the Bigfoot decal set on my trailer. The graphics on yours is magnificent, and gives me ideas.
Yves.

Beautiful work. In the late 70s, I helped put an extra 6' smack in the middle of a 38' fiberglass center cockpit ketch. What a mess!!! We always said it would be the end if the owner encountered a sea of acetone.
I'm always interested in effects of refurb on curb weight. Most of us are aware of axle ratings and stingy about tow cap. and mileage, so avoid the really weighty blng (yes, I have seen granite countertop in a small trailer!) but the little bits and pieces that make it just that much stronger and that much easier and that much prettier all add up. I wish you could give us the figures on weight per linear foot for the short version and the long. My guess, based mainly on looking at the pix of cabinetry, bedframe, is that you're doing your best to minimize the porking up.

This is Ken H. I have been away for some time and require assistance in logging back into the system. My original email account is no longer active and I don't have my password. Could someone advise how to go about changing my password and email address on the system so I can get back in.
Thanks.

Friday/Monday, response times are slow Ken. Now you'll need them to merge your two accounts . Sorry I can't help more...

Just like to say thanks to Donna, Frederick and Mary for helping me get set up again. You know what they say, it is hard to find good help. Especially when your time is volunteered.
Thanks again for making this a awesome website.
Ken
P.S. Wet weight of trailer turned out to be 4,600 lbs

Awning rail mod
Just small adjustment to my awning rail I was tired of getting rained on. It used of stop right at the edge of my door. But now it extends about a foot past, helps keep my floor dry

Looks great Ken. And welcome back BTW.
This forum software seems to prefer landscape photos. It flips portrait photos.

I fixed the pictures. This happens a lot with pictures from "Smart Phone" cameras that internally correct orientation, but do not transmit the correction when uploading the picture to this website.
