I like to use the fold down door of the
microwave cabinet as an extra work surface when "in the kitchen." But I didn't like the stress that use seemed to put on those chains. Someone suggested installing hemispherical stick-on door stoppers on the front of the door that would then rest on the top of the
fridge when the cabinet door is let down. But I had one of those computer wrist-rests lying around and tried it out. Perfect! Just set it on the top of the
fridge and when the door comes down it provides support all along it. It's made out of that mouse-pad material, but much thicker. Now I don't have to look at those white "bumps" sticking out on the door.
