Table On The Sly....
So our last camping trip was great except the site was under construction and didn't have any tables which ended up being a bit a pain in the butt! Being that I'm not one to buy and pack more stuff on our trips I opted to build a table to attach to the outside of our trailer out of what we have in the trailer already. I used the under seat storage covers, painted them, added stainless steal hardware and an adjustable leg....Volia! A table on the sly Big thanks to my Hubby for supporting my ideas and adding the finese that it always needs! Looking forward to giving them a test run on this weekends campout

Great job! I hate when I get a site without a picnic table. I to, don't travel with one........

Wow! Neat idea, I never would have thought of that. Did you use some butyl putty or something around the screw holes to seal them against leaks?

This is great, Emily! We just carry a 2 x 4 ft folding table with us, but I love the idea of "multi-purposing" something you're going to have with you anyway.

Yes butyl putty is our best friend when it comes to our trailer....We use that stuff on everything!
We also put a backer board on the inside of the trailer in the dinette area for extra support.

Great job on the table. Very useful for the space challenged. One question: Do you have a name and source for your stainless cleats and table attachments? Thanks.

Hi
I bought the hardware from a local marine supply store....They are meant to go on boats, hence them being SS. The brand is Victory Stainless Steal...I don't have the packaging nor the paperwork so I can't help you out with the part number but Google is always your friend
Cheers!
Emily

Wow, great idea and I like the red. The adjustable legs and support off the trailer looks nice.
