Can anyone help in the problem I am having removing the door latch on my burro. I have to do a small fibreglass repair and I removed the two screws from the inside, but seems door handle is still preventing me from removing the entire latch..I was expecting to see a set screw to loosen to remove handle but no luck...
Jay, what type of door handle do you have? My '84 13' Burro has the Bargman L-400. The L-400 interior handle/plate just pulls of the square shaft, after removing the plate's two screws.

The L-400 is problematic as it's out of production, NOS is rare and pricey.
Tom thanks for your help I am going to try and tackle the door handle tomorrow, luckily it still is functional ao I believe repair rather than replace will be the way to go.

There is a pin with a small C-clip that must also be removed in addition to the screws. It has been a while, but I think the C-clip is under the outside handle. Use some needle nose plyers or a small screwdriver to remove the clip and the inside and outside halves will come apart.
