Have just finished the final touches before the Emily Gathering.

Found a couple of tote boxes to give us some additional storage under the bed. Here's the new Dinette and those macrame hooks are great for hanging a battery operated lamp when not needed.

I re-configured the drain for my water tank after the valve broke while flushing the system. It used to be on the tank in behind the wheel.
I put a 5 watt solar pannel on the stone guard and connected it to the plug at the battery. and have added a waterproof 12v outlet at the battery so that we can connect our battery operated cooler and run it in the dining shelter. After the summer I will attach it permanently either behind the propane tank or behind the spare tire.

Things STILL on my Procrastinators list.....
Re-wire electrical
Replace axle
Make new cupboard doors

Right now it's time to do a little camping.

If I recall James, [b]you are [b]not responsible for the delay in replacing the axle. We both are in the same boat on this one, just on opposite sides. I've got a replacement axle and you have someone able to put one in. I hope we'll both be have our axles in by the end of July.

In the meantime, you can enjoy the camping. I've got 5 days blocked off and devoted to the trailer before we head off to Emily. Then I can get a little camping in, see what others have done and contemplate my next dozen or so projects. I've got the parts on hand for a few of them already.

Roy

Hi Roy
Camping season is upon us. Our daughter and husband and twin 20 Mo old boys just flew in, today, from Grand Prarie Alberta for a week. Guess we'll head for the beach and use the trailer as an extra bedroom for the cottage. Then home, repack and hit the road for Emily. Got some plans for August too. The axle might have to waite until Sept whan things slow down a bit. Egads, but I do like retirement. There's just no time for rust to accumulate.

Just because we get older doesn't mean we have to BE old.

Hi: Roy...& Jim... Sounds like both of you guys are up to your axles in work. I just added a full length mirror to the "Throne Room" door...then all I have to do is decide what stuff to take to Emily???
Remember... growing old is "Standard" growing up is "Optional".

Is the mirror facing in to make the throne room look bigger or ???

If you are at a loss for things to do, I'll be working on my trailer if you miss the fixing up stuff. You'll be within a couple of km of me on your way to Emily. I'm not too far from the 400/401 interchange (hint hint)

Well you saw what I was able to accomplish just before and during bolerama. We are back home now and the axle was installed today!

I'll post details on everything in the appropriate forums just as soon as I can.

Not really Scott,
The older I get, the more I realize those that are older than me usually have more wisdom.

Including, on days when he's thinking well, his own wife -- I've got 6 months on him.

Hot Darn!
Glad you finally got your axle. I'm still in waiting mode. Added two outside access doors and new clearance lights today. Started sanding the lower half for it's second coat of paint.

As to the age thing. My Mom's 98 and my Mom-in-law is 96 and theiy are both going strong yet, so mabee I've got a chance. EH!

Sadly, my Lass just uses the Egg. She has no interest to contribute ideas or effort.... Sooooo.... I just jump in and do it myself.
