I agree that this is a great way to drill fiberglass with an almost 100% certainty of a clean hole!

Good one! It's my attempt at being edgy/artsy.

Applied the little self adhesive black plastic dots (they're <1/8" thick). I'm taking bets as to how long they stay stuck once I take the Scamp on the road.

@Greg..good idea. Will have to do a better job of lining up the little dots first. Here's a tip: Put the little dots on before you install the hands OR before you install the battery. I did it with the second hand chasing me around the face.

@Theresa...I ordered the quiet movement (continuous sweep Mini quartz). A little over $1 more than regular movement, but it specifically said ultra-quiet. Don't want to hear ticking all night long when I'm camping in nature!

When I was a little younger I could actually hear my Seiko Quartz watch tick.

I think I've overcome my fear of drilling/cutting holes in fiberglass...these plus the five I drilled for the outside light (pic to come).
