Tongue mounted propane tank bracket?

I saw (I think in the forum here) a bracket that was made for a propane tank (homemade) that used a perforated strap of steel to wrap around the tank - clamping with a bolt, and then there were legs going from this strap downward toward the lattice structure inside the trailer tongue.

Has anyone seen pictures of this type of bracket? - I would appreciate it if anyone has some further information on this bracket.

Getting our 16 ft scamp ready for it's first trip with the whole family this weekend!

Thanks for any help you can give.

Maybe this one Darryl? Yes, she replaced the bungy with a coated chunk of chain!

Thanks Donna - that is it. - I was curious about the nylon blocks that she used. - was wondering how to keep from messing up the tank with the heads of the bolts.

Thanks Again.

Darryl

Gillian,

We have a single tank, formerly held down by steel rods with a hooked piece of metal with wing nuts. I replaced it with a welded piece similar to Joy's. The new setup works well and is easier to use than the hooked metal.

The hooked metal pieces are readily available.
