Trillium dinette cushions

Sorry if this has been posted before!
My 1975 Trillium came without the bench cushions or back rest cushions for the dinette ( benches on either side of the table) does anyone have the dimensions of these or can they measure theirs for me? I would like to start making some
Thanks in advance!

Template the curved seats with heavy brown paper, fold up, send to custom foam cutters, they'll ship you your foam. Wrap it in cushion batting (or order it that way). Sew your covers for a taut fit with long zippers. Put a drycleaner bag over the batting-wrapped foam, take your vacuum and suck the air out which squeezes it all down to a little pancake, easily put it into the sewn cover, zip it up mostly, then quickly remove the bag sliding it out after you tear it (or you can leave it in as it protects the foam from spills though it will make a plastic-y sound when you sit on it). Done!

I have very good, reupholstered cushions from my 1980 Trillium Jubilee that were surplus when I converted the dinette into a full time bed.

I don't know if they would fit or if they might work with some minor modification.

Does anyone on this forum have any idea if they might work.

The Jubilee is a 15 ftr and the bed is 54" so might be a bit bigger than the 13' but they could probably be shortened with much less effort than starting from scratch.

Shipping of course is a factor, unless you might know of someone coming through Surrey BC at sometime.

Let me know if you want to even consider this and I'll get pics and dimensions.

That's a very kind offer thank you
But I think I will try to source the materials locally first.

Lnydsay, I bought new cushions from Dormir, and my daughter is going to sew the covers. We bought 5" foam for the dinette, and 4" for the front bench.

I have a template I made that has the curve for the back corners, and the angle cut for the front corners. I have all the sizes of each cushion too. As well, I have templates for the front bench and bunk (which serves also as the backrest).

If you want, I can give you a copy when you stop by.

Hello peatle, I would be interested in the dinette cushions if Pretty is passing on them? Do you have any pics of them? Im close to you. I have a 78 4500 so I think they may be the same size but I will double check. Thank you

Here are a couple of pics and I have more. The bed in the Jubilee is 54" wide so that will be the lengths of these four cushions.

I id have the other dimensions as I had these listed on this site at one time but I don't know them off hand. If you are interested I can measure them again but they are wrapped and stored away at the moment.

Thanks for your interest ... let me know !!

I am sorry to say that the cushions from a Trillium Jubilee would have to be modified to fit a 4500. The rear corners on a Jubilee are almost square, where a 4500 has rounded corners. The bed on a 4500 is 53" wide. So that should not be a problem.

The widths of the cushions are 23.5" seat and 15" backs - all 54" long and 4" thick.

There is no rounding of the back corner as David points out and I wonder how much of task it would be to reshape these a little.

Anyway ... they are here for you to look at, if you wish, and judge for yourself.

The cushion dimension provided would make a bed that is 54" wide and 77" long. So a perfect fit for a 4500, other then the rounded corners.

Note to self: Trillium Jubilee beds are the same size as a 4500.

Here is a link to cushion sizes for my Trillium 1300 I posted. I gave Lyndsay a copy on the weekend, and though others might need it too.

http://www.fiberglassrv.com/forums/f...tml#post509048

I have also attached the template here now too. Print on 11x17 paper.

Hi Peter thank you for your quick reply. I think I will pass, although they look to be in really good condition the colours will not go with what we are looking for. I like your idea of leaving it a really comfy bed, instead of a table.

No problem Aaron ... that large floral fabric wouldn't have been my choice either but they came with the trailer !

Keeping the bed made up is very convenient providing of course that there are only two of you in the trailer. I took out the front bunk/seat and built a two seater dinette there and it has worked well for us.

Good luck with your project ... !
