trillium dinette table replacement

Any tips on where or how to replace the dinette table for a 1975 trillium?
I am new to owning a trillium or fiberglass trailer and will most definitely appreciate the advice.

Hi Jared, welcome to FiberglassRV. We're glad you're here

I don't own a Trillium, so I prefer to leave those answers to those that do, but wanted to say

Jarid,

Tables come up for sale. People remove them to convert the dinette to a bed, permantly. I have a spare table for a Trillium 4500, but It would not fit your 1300. Watch the parts section on this web site, and kijiji, and/or craigs list.

What part of your table is broken or missing? The metal parts can bought online. I might have a few left from my rebuild.

The table surface can be built out of wood or other counter top material available at your local big box hardware store.

My Trillium came with two tables. The front is a pedestal type and the rear has swing down hardware with a folding leg. Both are standard RV hardware that can be found in any RV store or on line. Both tops are veneer plywood. Raz

Thank you

Thanks, everyone, for the advice. The hardware to mount the table came with the trailer but the table itself has a lot of damage to the laminate.
Can the table top be resurfaced or is it easier to replace/rebuild from scratch.

Smile Table top replacement

I took the table top to a cabinet maker. The new table was cut out, hardware transfered. All for a total of $40.00.

It looks great, wipes clean and is sturdy enough to support when it becomes a bed.

That's a good deal. I don't think I could buy the plywood for $40. Raz

You may be better off than you think.

If you are a do it yourselfer you can remove the laminate with a multi-tool. Available at sears harbor freight etc. and re-laminate it (I learned how watching you tube videos -you will need a router if any size)

Or like others said you can have one made

If you make one from scratch you can use your damaged one as a template for the new table.

Final note be sure to use the same total thickness to assure the flattest surface for your sleeping arrangements when in the down position

Good luck and post before / after photos
