I peeled back ensolite in a number of places around the
windows some time back and was delighted to find the plywood in excellent shape. I attributed it to this unit living its life on Vancouver Island so minimal freeze cycles. However I'm gearing up to
paint on Saturday and removed a couple of screws and they were well rusted so I'm having second thoughts. So what would you gurus do? Pause on
painting and do the full window removal job, or drill/epoxy the holes and replace the screws with SS.
