I'm pretty sure that the factory tolerances for the installation of the light varied greatly from Trillium to Trillium as does most things on these trailers.

While I respect your desire for perfection, in an imperfect world it is extremely hard to obtain.

I'd mount it and move on, I won't tell anyone if it is not perfect!

99.99% if all people who see a vintage all molded towable wouldn't know if the tail lights are original. The chances of noticing a porch light is 1/2" off is waaaay less than zero....

"Look Gladys, a porch light that's in the original position." Never gonna happen....
