TV/DVD installation in Kustom Koach

Here's how I squeezed a TV and DVD player into our 17' Kustom Koach. As you can see from the photos, they fold up from the table. When closed, the table still seats 4 for dining. The table also can still be folded down for use as a bed. Since the TV speakers were pretty anemic, I supplemented the sound with a little 12v amp/radio playing through two 3-way speakers. Got the amp on Ebay. The remotes are attached with Velcro.

Great idea!
Do you have any photos of the underside? What hardware did you use.
Will be filling this idea away for if and when I get a trailer with a front table.

All the hardware used is visible in the photos, except the TV mount, which was your basic adjustable shallow mount (augmented with one stove bolt through the TV's bottom metal bracket). The DVD player was attached with pop rivets to the shelf brackets. (I removed the player's outer cover when drilling the holes.) I also used a piano hinge and two standard swiveling lid props to hold it upright when in use. To cut the hole in the table I plunge cut against a clamped straight edge with a circular saw fitted with a thin-kerf blade. I put masking tape over the area I was cutting to minimize chipping of the table laminate. The amp is attached to the DVD player with 3 screws.
