UHaul Door seal
I was looking for a cheap alternative to replace my old door seal on our CT13 and went to the scrap yard. For 20$ I got a dodge caravan sliding door seal that looks like brand new. The fit is perfect and dont have any more water coming in when raining. Only have to cut the esthetic trim on the inner side.
Just though it would help some of you Uhaul owner.

A 2003 dodge caravan. It is a perfect fit at a great price.

That looks like the same door seal that Michael M (Columbus, IN) found at Perfect Fit. He had extra, so I bought it from him and it did a great job on our VT door.

Scamp may take the same style of bulb seal, but it may use a different diameter of bulb. These seals are made in different dimensions for different applications.

Did you determine the size of the bulb by determining the depth of the door entrance by the fiberglass depth?

The bulb diameter is determined by the seal gap, which may vary around the perimeter of the door opening. One way to measure the seal gap is to buy some modeling clay then build and stick little cones of clay around the door perimeter on the sealing line. Gently close the door until it just clicks shut, then open it and measure the height of the compressed clay cones. You want a seal that fills the widest gap but that is not overly compressed in the smallest gap. You may need to adjust the door if your gap varies too much around the perimeter.

Replaced my old seal today with scrap yard 2003 Dodge Caravan gasket. Fit on real nice but not quite thick enough to make contact all around door. Can see some light through. A bit of a disappointment. Was hoping for better. May try to tighten latch mechanism.
