Vent fan

5 bucks at the surplus store and parts from the junk bin and I've got an exhaust fan!

How did you mount the fan? I mounted mine on Velcro and tapped into the light for power using 9v battery connecters, I started to install a rocker switch to turn on. 9v connectors worked better for my use 2 fans in/ out.

I open the slider and put the fan in the opening. Close the window to squeeze the fan and flip down the latch. It holds nice and tight. The power is off the light in the cabinet. I split apart an old RCA "Y" adapter and popped one chunk out of the bottom of the cabinet and the other attached to the fan. No switch... I just plug it in. Dorothy pointed out that we shouldn't put the screen on... grease buildup.

This would work well for a bathroom too!
