Wall/headliner with the Thermozite?

Hello all,
I'm a new member and currently remodeling my new-to-me 1972 Compact Junior. I would like to replace the old wall/headliner which is leopard faux fur, with the single-sided Thermozite.
Has anyone done this before? Would appreciate your expert opinion on the material and installation.
Thanks in advance.

Welcome to the forum. I have not heard of anyone using Thermozite to insulate their trailer. Reflectix, a double sided foil bubble wrap sandwich is used by many manufacturers. It's available at home improvement stores, seems to have r values similar to Thermozite, and is much cheaper. Either product will need an additional covering. While I have never insulated a trailer, those that have describe it as a major endeavor. Good luck with your project.

Thanks for your reply. I am hoping to apply Thermozite to achieve both insulation and "rat fur" liner at the same time. Am I on a wrong track of thinking?

I am covering all unexposed areas with reflectix & sealing it with their tape, damned stickie stuff!!! Cost $.50/sq. Ft. And very easy to work with. Mind is a 1989 16' cassie. Pull up reflectix,a wealth of info.

This is not going to be a durable product for such a use.

The surface of the thermozite is very thin metal over a layer of soft EVA foam. It will be extremely susceptible to damage as a finished surface. It is meant to be protected by other materials over it.

Thank you all, guess that I better change the course of my initial plan. I might opt for the reflectix with the aluminum tape along seams, then top off with marine headliner fabric. All glued down with 3M-90 spray adhesive.

The Arizona heat was to much for the 3M glue, so I redid our with DAP High Temp Headliner spray glue.....no more problems.
