Water tank

Did a water tank originally come with Uhaul '85?

As is, tap can hook up to hose for running cold water.

Yes, there was originally a 10 gallon plastic tank in the left rear corner under seat compartment

There was originally a city water connection on the left side. The original faucet had a dual action. If pumped, it removed water from the tank. If the control lever was moved in the opposite direction, water from the city water connection flowed from the faucet.

This is the original hand pump: Amazon.com: Leisure Components 131-5 2-Way Low Boy Hand Water Pump: Automotive

The original tank was 14.5" x 14.5" x 10" high.

This might squeeze in: #881030 - Plastic Water Tank on Sale - PPL Motor Homes

Or this: http://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-RV-Campe...ae7364&vxp=mtr

If you want to move to an electric water pump, this kit is tempting. I used this pump on mine: http://www.ebay.com/itm/10-Gallon-Fr...50764091398%26

Try Ronco plastics on the web. They are here in Tustin California and I just bought a tank from them. Look at their website and find a tank you like then call and tell then you found it cheaper on another rv parts website and they will bet it. I mentioned I found it 30 bucks less(130 to 100) on another website and he gave me 50% off right there 65 bucks! They are the manufacturer so you will be cutting out the middle man and you get three fitting free with every tank.
