What is original design
Hi, just wondering if anyone can provide info to the pictures provided for our 1978, 4500 Trillium .
The first picture shows the area below the sink. The red cap covers a cigarette lighter. As it is screwed in not rivited, we believe that a PO added it. Have not tested it to see if it works.
The second picture shows what I now believe to be where the mounting bracket for the bunk used to go. The PO was using it for mounting a paper towel holder.
The next couple of pictures show shelving/drawer mounting under the rear dinette seats. They are on both sides. They are riveted in, so we tend to think that they are original. We are still trying to find some bins to fit in there.
Thanks for any help in shedding light on this.

Claire, I have two 1978 Trillium 4500's. Neither has any of what is in picture #1. Picture #1 is, as you suspected, where the mount for the fall prevention bar would go. The other one mounts to the pillar by the door. Pictures #3 and #4 are the brackets that hold the drawers. They were a part of the Deluxe package.
If you want, I could post pictures of them.

The white things used to be towel holders, the kind with the plastic tongs that pushed in and held the towel. The black switch is for the water pump. I would love to see pictures of the drawers. thanks greatly.

Looks a lot like a standard 12v plug. Did it actually have a cigarette lighter in it?

Thanks Carol, you are correct. I am not familiar with that style of outlet so I assumed it was a lighter.

Claire, Hopefully pictures tonight. The standard 12 VDC plug is a cigarette lighter socket. They are the same thing. The only difference would be the presence of a cigarette lighter.

Hi David,
Do you actually have the original drawers in your trailer? If so I was wondering if you could measure them for me and send a picture of the hardware used.
We are pretty sure we can use some Ikea bins in there, but would prefer a drawer that was attached and pulled out.
I found a picture in the original brochure. Also, in that picture I noticed that it does not look like the floor steps up to the dinette, but ours does as the water tank is under the floor. Are some of them flat across or is it just the picture.
thanks for all your help.

Claire, I still owe you pictures of my drawers. I will include a tape measure in the pictures.
Every 4500, and 1300 that I have seen has a step up to the floor under the dinette. As you noted the 4500 has a water tank there. The step in the brochure is hidden by the uniform colour of the carpet, but it is there.

Hi Dave, unfortunately the drawers have taken a back seat. Decided to check our attachment bolts (which need to be done) and discovered water in the compartments. Now the "want" to do the belly band has changed to "have" to do the belly band. I did the windows last year, so that is the only place I can think that is leaking.

Hey! I found some great pictures of the drawers in the photo album:
Fiberglass RV - Buck944's Album: Trillium 4500 - Picture
Check out the next one for the drawers in the dinette. This trailer has them all.

Thanks Dave. Those are great pictures. Now to see if we can build some. Could you send some measurements? No rush, it will probably be a project for the fall. Thanks.
