Where can I find 1/4" bike rack receiver for scamp?

I opted not to purchase the option when we ordered our 2013 16' scamp but now I would like to tow with my SUV that doesn't have room for the bikes in the bed like my truck. I'm thinking our hitch bike rack would be the best solution since we can switch it between the camper and SUV when we arrive at the campground. I thought eTrailer sold a similar hitch compared to the OEM one but I cannot find it.

A am assuming you mean an 1 1/4" hitch?

Orbital Machine Works makes custom hitches for Casita's and Scamps. But the one I got for my Scamp was a 2" receiver... if you ask nice perhaps they will do one with an 1 1/4" for you. The hitches are designed specific for a Scamp and they are very well done and they do an amazing job of packing them so they are not damaged during shipping. I don't recommend using one of those slide in receiver reducers but I think you will find most of the better racks these days come with some sort of adapter you can use a 1 1/4 rack on a 2" receiver.

My rack does have an adapter. I guess 2" is fine. Thanks for the link!

Orbital sells the "scamp hitch receiver" on amazon, too. It is on sale.

When Orbital sends out the hitch they include every thing needed for the install - bolts. spacers etc... and very clear installation instructions. A first class company in regards to the the manufacturing and shipping etc.

The 2" is a wise choice.
