I would call Scamp and ask them what they use. Pretty sure they use a spray adhesive.

The issue I see with using a hot melt glue is your not going to be able to evenly cover the walls or the back of the rat fur resulting in pockets of rat fur with no glue, This can/will in a bumpy looking finish. Keep in mind the walls are not flat so you will probable notice any imperfections in the smoothness of the rat fur a lot more than you would on a flat side wall.

Donna,

Did you have a chance to look at my posted pics of the damage spot? If so, do you have any cool suggestions that I might use to repair this spot?

What? One lets the kid sleep on the floor and the other one wants to make a special place for them? Actually, I think the kid would like the floor so I'm not sure where I fall....... :-)
