Which color Rust-Oleum Marine Topside paint to use for Scamp

Hi there! Our 1978 13' Scamp has got a couple of small holes in the front that have been filled with fiberglass resin at our local auto shop. The holes don't go all the way through to the interior, just the outer fiberglass. They're all dried and sanded now, and I was planning to prime and paint with the Rust-Oleum Marine Topside products I've seen recommended on the forum. Since I'm buying it from Amazon, can anyone recommend which shade to get - there's gloss white, semi-gloss white, and oyster white. Planning on spot painting, cleaning, then giving the Zep treatment that I've read about here.

Not looking for it to be show-worthy or anything, just looking to get er fixed up. Any advice would be greatly appreciated as always, thanks in advance!

I have forwarded your question to my other half, who is really an expert on all things fiberglass.

I'll mention that we currently have a 19' Scamp and have a 21' Escape on order. We also are seriously experienced sailboat owners.

So, we spend a lot of time doing all things fiberglass. Dan found a product that we have been using for a number of years now on both the Scamp and the sailboat. We live in S. Florida, so our fiberglass gets a real beating from the sun. Additionally, we do deep winter camping with the Scamp...and are in it for long trips several months a year.

The product is New Glass2. It is SO easy to use. You just have to make sure you follow their directions and use THEIR cleaner. One application (5 coats) lasts a year for the boat in salt water including several months in the Bahamas and the other assorted trips we make. The boat is in the water all the time. We get more than a year out of it on the Scamp. It is like dipping an applicator in milk and spreading it. No buffing.

Have you thought about using a gel coat product on the Scamp?
