Wide Bed in a 16' Side dinette Scamp

When did Scamp start or make a wide bed in a side dinette
and what was the designation of such trailer?

Dunno when they started, by my 16' deluxe with a side dinette has the large bed. We bought it new in October of 2014

The wide bed is not available in the standard S-16's & S19's. I recently viewed a Deluxe S-19 and it had a narrow rear bed.

What do you mean by large? Queen size? If so, what did they take away - make smaller - to allow the "wider" bed?

The "Wide" bed (optional on the Deluxe) is 54"as opposed to the Standard bed which is 44" wide. My 13 has the wide bed and still has room for everything else we need.

Yep, it takes a deluxe to get a "large" bed in the 16', which is actually a standard double bed size (less the curves in the rear corners).
The sink/stove counter is barely large enough to hold a sink & stove, and even yet, has about a 4" overhang over the foot of the bed. At the head end, there is just a plywood panel that separates the bed from the side dinette.

Layout A in a Scamp Deluxe 16 provides a large bed, plenty of kitchen space and a large refrigerator, but the bath is small. Always a tradeoff.
