Low key gathering of scamps and other eggers. If you had, have or want an egg, all are welcome!

Many of you have expressed interest in coming together and having a
Scampers Paradise camping weekend so after a lot of fun research and planning, I think we came up with an amazing place to hold our 1st Annual event!

Onondaga Cave State Park campground is only $25 a night for Electric and Water!! Hot showers and laundry facilities are available and a dump station for RVs is located next to the showerhouse. WiFi is also available for those of us who just need to stay connected… it’s an illness really.

THINGS TO DO: Caves Tours, Hiking, Fishing, Boating (rentals close to the State Park), Biking trails, Swimming and lots of nature to admire!

This is great, we haven't been to an Egg gathering but have been wanting to attend. We live in St. Louis so we are relatively close. Plan to arrive on Thursday so we can do a float trip on Friday before the crowds hit the river! We do a lot of floating in Missouri and the weekends on the river are crazy. This campground is really nice. We have site #23 -- see you all there.

Might be interested. Live in south centra missouri. Do need to see our schedule as we are on road having attended rally in Lanesboro, Minn.. due home end of next week. Is this listed under rallys in case i can't find this post again? Missouri parks are great....no daily entrance fees, if over 65 $2 off camping fee, all have volunteer CG hosts. How come your trip from minn. to missouri is only 9 hours? Our trip to minn. was 5 days up, scheduled for 13 days to get back to mo.. LOL.

We were just at the lanesboro rally too!
This will be more of a gathering, not really a rally.

Thanks very much msawil and mister, for taking the time to talk with my wife and me this afternoon, and for showing us the interior of a much-coveted Scamp. While I'm still lurking, since I'm a Missourian we thought we'd take a ride through the country on this day that turned out to be punctuated with rainstorms hoping to check one out instead because its unreasonable for us to drive to the factory.
We gotta get us one of those! Thanks again!

My wife and I would have liked to attend this gathering/rally, but we needed to attend a memorial service for a good friend's wife (down on the Gulf Coast) last weekend.

We are located in the KC Metro area and have actually been to that park before. If you do
this rally again, I hope we will be able to attend.
