Oct. 1-4, 2015 — Fort Stevens State Park
(Northern Oregon Coast)

Saturday night of Fall NOG, as a group, we decide where to go the following fall. The majority wanted to camp at Fort Stevens on the northern Oregon coast. Well, there was a conflict with the "normal" dates... with the entire City of Astoria, which is just north of Fort Stevens! Seems there was a HUGE festival happening during our normal dates and everyone was fearful Fort Stevens would fill with "festival" folks other than NOGgers. Hence, the date change. The date changes aren't normal and may not happen in the future.. so, don't count on it! After more than a decade of twice-a-year NOGs, the dates are pretty set in stone. If I have my way...

THANKS to Thom and Cari for spending time at Fort Steven and talking to the Park Rangers. I really DO appreciate your efforts, truly. I asked them to check out the biggest, flattest, close-to-restrooms site that would available during the NOG. I'm now reserved in N26 (Wed-Sun).

So... make your reservations. Only N and O loops will be open during the Fall NOG. It appears only O loop has a restroom with showers. Pay attention!

We are very sorry to say that we need to cancel the Fall NOG. We were really looking forward to seeing folks but Kathie's sister in upstate New York has recurrent breast cancer and we have decided to head there for a visit. Hopefully we can see a few sites along the way too.

We have site O 2 reserved Weds - Sunday if anyone is interested we won't cancel it right away so let us know.
