Paulw (Paul, Norma & the girls) posted in #1 above:

This will be the eighth year we've visited this area on this weekend - we've had small 'Not Organized' gatherings and a lot of fun in the area. This get together isn’t limited to fiberglass rv’s – we’ve had participants in every type of rv in past years.
Campfire Friday & Potluck Saturday…..

Sounds like a nice, relaxed, unorganized gathering.
Paulw (Paul, Norma & the girls), post #1 on this thread, would probably be the contact person.

BEST, happy camping, maybe see you there,

Hi Robert,
Very informal, everyone is invited - last year I had no idea how many were coming until they got there (but it is nice to know ahead of time). You can click on the links in my signature below to see pictures from previous years.
We will have a fire pit going at our site (50) Friday for a no host dinner on a stick & conversation.
Saturday we'll have a potluck at the same place.
Norma was saying something about breakfast on Sunday, but nothings for sure on that yet....
Glad you will be joining us.... what site did you reserve?

Just catching up on the forums….
As of right now, site 4 (nice site) is the only spot available for the Maryhill in May weekend, but that can change… also as someone mentioned Peach Beach resort has gotten good reviews and is a short walk/bike/drive from where we gather.
I’ve counted 17 groups admitting to coming, but traditionally we pick up a few that are shy about signing up along with some friends & family – should be a nice sized gathering around the Maryhill fire pit.

I’ll post a list of who (I know) is coming later….

I'm hoping my nephew and his wife and their three boys will join me (they live in Yakima so it is a hop, skip and a jump for them) and tent-camp. Looking forward to it!

Paul,
Barbara, wannabe a 'Procrastinator in Remission' ...but haven't quite cleared that hurdle!
I would love to see everyone in May, at the Maryhill gathering. The loop appears booked but hoping that if someone finds they must cancel, please feel free to write me directly at : gardencoach@live.com
I'm more than happy to reimburse you for your 2 night stay.
If anyone else hears of a vacancy popping up, please send me an email, as well.
Paul: Hope to see you and Norma and your girl as well as the old and the new Fiberglass gang!
Barbara

Greetings. We are again camping over at Peach Beach, as we did last year. Just a fyi to anyone who cannot get a spot at Maryhill, you may be able to find a spot next door at Peach Beach.

Not coming to the rally

I won't be coming to this rally. I have spot #16 reserved. Total booking fee was $88.00. Reserved for two nights, arriving on Friday May 19th and leaving on Sunday the 21st.

I don't know if I'm able to transfer this reservation to someone else. I'm new to this booking of sites and all that.

If I'm able to and you want this site, please email me at laurap@UnderKittySupervision.com

If I don't hear from anyone in the next few days I'll just cancel it. You can always paypal me the fee. I don't know if there's a fee to transfer it to someone else - if so, that would need to be covered as well. Anyway, email me and we'll go from there.

Thanks!

(Just FYI, this is my first post on this forum (I think), but I've posted a bazillion times on the Escape forum, for those not familiar with my name.)

cancelling my reservation

I'm cancelling my reservation in a few minutes for this rally. Several days ago I emailed the person above that asked to be contacted about a site, but I haven't heard anything. Nor have I heard from anyone else.

I hope everyone has a good time at it!

Well, went to go cancel it and they want to charge me 40 bucks to cancel it!!! That's half the reservation fee, which is stinking crazy. Guess I won't ever book with the WA Parks again if that's their policy.

So, will hang on to the reservation for longer to see if someone wants me to transfer it over. And email the person above to see if they still want it. Haven't even heard a decline from them, so don't know what's going on.

Laura,
I never got your 1st email!?!
I do want your site & have sent an email to you as well as a private message on the FG site.
No idea why we are having a disconnect...
Sure I'll hear from you shortly...ball is in your court.
Thanks,
Barbara

Good news!

YAY! Barbara and I have connected and tomorrow we'll get it all taken care of. I don't get ripped off by the WA State Parks system for cancelling my reservation and she gets a spot for partying with others.

Whew!
