Sorry to hear Joe, Mary, Dennis and Judy can't make it but gladdened to hear Jim and Vicki can!

It's got to get warmer eventually, right? Earth's still lapping the sun and we still have that axial tilt thing going on...

The cold spring has me so far behind with things I'm going crazy...if I do go I'll be leaving Sunday morning as I have to be in St. Louis early am Monday.
How many are sure they're going and what site number should I try for? I really struggle doing it online.

Bruce go to: http://www.indiana.reserveworld.com/
and type in Prophetstown State Park. Any site between 212 & 249 will work.

You can stop by most anytime but you may as well come late Saturday afternoon and stay for the group meal.

We just found out our young niece passed away in Iowa. Not sure about funeral plans yet. This may change our availability for this weekend.

Wowser, quick 30mph gust came through while I was doing an errand. Blew awning off trailer even though it was staked out. Pulled stakes out too. Camper next site helped sort it out so I'm set for the moment. FUDGE. Need to consult with Jim if he's coming.

Supposed to rain until Friday, sunshine for weekend.

Vicki and I are still planning on being there. I've got cataract surgery on Wednesday, but should get the go ahead to travel following my post-op appointment on Thursday. I'm getting 'Lil Big Rig out from under the canopy today. Steve, let me know if I can bring anything to help with the awning.

Thanks Jim but i'm good for now. It came off cleanly and I was able roll up about 98% of it and it's in the Flex at the moment although I may strap it to the roof rack later. One of the side arms broke at the outer rail so there's no reinstalling it until I get parts.

And if memory serves me the last time we were there more than 1 trailer lost an awning?!
And pretty much out of nowhere too!

Hope you are having fun anyway.

And hope that Someone brings a fryer too

OK, the funeral will be on Friday for our Iowa niece, so we won't be arriving at site 234 until Saturday. We plan to stay until Monday now, too, but will have to move to site 245 for the extra night. I've emailed ReserveAmerica about our late arrival (no phone number that I could find), so hopefully they won't give our site away because of not arriving Friday.

We will NOT be there. I am sorry. When Kevin can cancel it, we are space 234. We had worked around my 34 year old niece's funeral and then my favorite uncle died on Wed. His funeral is Sunday. We will get to take the Silver Cloud out for its first trip this year this weekend though, so we can attend my uncle's funeral. There is a campground there that will allow us to dewinterize the camper.

What a horrible week!

Just got bad news from the eye doc. Apparently my eye pressure is down due to a small leak. When we asked about the trip he asked if there was a good E.R. near Prophetstown. No bowling, no lifting no bending for a few more days......damn! However I get more (antibiotic) eye drops. Wishing good weather to you all. Will miss seeing you all.

Bad news from both Jim/Vicky and Kevin/Cindy. Hope things smooth out quickly for you-all. I will pass along your regrets since I don't know who else is keeping touch while here.
