TN | 2019, July 15-17: Rendezvous on the Cumberland

July 15-17, 2019 at Lock A COE Campground near the Cheatam Dam near Ashland City, Tn. This is a rendezvous rather than a rally because scheduled activities will be limited to morning coffee and evening campfires at the host site. Your daily activities schedule will be up to you. Mon through Wed was chosen due to the popularity of this campground. Weekend reservations are difficult to obtain this time of the year. Bring your bike as the campground offers miles of paved road down to the dam. There is also an excellent hiking trail along the old railroad route. If you have a Tn fishing lic bring your fishing gear. This will also be a great opportunity to visit Nashville attractions like Opryland, County Music Hall of Fame and the downtown area. Reservations may be made through Recreation.gov 6 months in advance. Please do not reserve site 29. If you have any questions please send me a PRIVATE MESSAGE. Dennis & Susie Archer will be hosting. Just reserved site 14 for 14-18 July. Apparently the website is having problems but we talked to a very nice representative who made the reservation for us.

I managed to book online site #38 July 11th through the 18th, 2019. Yes Reserve America was very slow & a little frustrating, but they did come through.

Well, with that, I changed my reservation and moved across the street to Bryan & Beth's lakefront site (#28) from site #18: arriving Monday, July 15, checking out Thursday, July 18.

Site #18 is available again.

This is a great campground. Spent a week in January with my kids in a cabin on the lake. Checking in on 15th-19th in spot 36. See you then.
