2019, June 7-9: Rally in Republic! 2nd Annual

https://tincantourists.com/event/ral...ic-2nd-annual/

Vintage trailers of all ages, makes and models are invited to join in on a weekend full of fun during Republic’s 62nd annual Prospectors’ Days festivities.
Held at the Ferry County Fairgrounds, $15 per night gets you a campsite with power and water, no septic. Bathrooms and showers on premises! And get this… vintage trailers are invited to participate in Saturday’s parade through town!
In addition to the weekend’s festivities, there is much to do in the area, including: A fun run, pancake breakfast, parade, street dance are all in place. There is fishing in area lakes and the rail trail for biking.
REGISTRATION will be upon arrival at the rally. Site availability is on a first-come-first-serve basis. Roughly 70 campsites available.
More info to follow, as rally plans are evolving.

I was coming back home from a Lake Roosevelt trip and hit Republic just before the parade. I couldn't figure out why they thought I wanted to be in the parade. Now I know. I just wanted to go through town and return to the Okanogan Valley.

They have a good Rail to Trail to ride bikes on. It is sandy and rocky in places and I've been glad I had fat tires on my bike.

Love the beer at the downtown brewery.

That is too funny! Talk about perfect timing

I'll definitely stop in at the brewery for a nice stout or porter - thanks for the recommendation!

If you find yourself looking to get away that weekend, come on up to Republic!

Bummer, I just saw this posted in "The Roost". This is right in my back yard. Unfortunately I'll still be on my Oregon/Washington coast trip. I'll definitely make plans for next year.
