I called the new location and made a reservation for that whole week on site 44. Very nice people on the phone. They did not take a deposit when I asked - they said to call them back if I cannot make it. Looks to be several sites available - she said only 8 or so others had booked for the rally as of my call a couple days ago. Now I am waiting for the original camp reservations to be cancelled by Recreation.gov to get my full refund....

I'm very interested in attending this rally, as I am a new fiberglass trailer owner. I'd only be able to do a couple nights stay unfortunately, 13th & 14th would I be the only person doing this? Because it seems most are booking for the entire week.

Our gathering is for Fiberglass campers and friends. Come as soon as you can, stay as long as you can, participate as much or as little as you like.

Got my refund for the Farnum Creek campground today as well as notice advising it will be closed throught 9/30.

It’s less than a month until Eggstravaganza. I do not actually have much to talk about in this update.

I have 22 units on my list and the campground has 4 more, but their record keeping is even worse than mine. I think I know who they mean but I can’t tell for sure.

I do know of at least 4 of our regulars will not be attending.
You can plan on at least 26 for a Rally Bag count.

There is one person who has notified me that they will not know if they will be able to attend until the last minute. The campground has more than enough sites available so anyone making a last minute decision to attend will not be a problem.

We arrived a couple hours ago. 6 eggs here now. Pool is open - it was nice to cool off in. Grass sites with electric and water. Bathhouse central to the park by the pool has a pavilion with a grill. If your site does not have a picnic table and/or fire ring and you need one please ask and they will try to accommodate as they did for us. Bring your clams, awnings, etc.. as there is not a lot of shade trees in the middle but forested around the perimeter.
