AL | 2020, March 11-15: Gunter Hill Alabama

Several of us couples have decided to MEET at Gunter Hill RV Park near Prattville Alabama March 11 thru 15 of 2020.

Those that have been there know it is a beautiful park. The Catoma Loop Sites are large and level with power, water, and sewer. All roads are two way and paved and great for biking. Prattville is about 20 minutes away with shopping and good places to eat. TV reception is fair, and Verizon and ATT phones work most of the time.

There are no activities planned, and no fees as there are no expenses and this is a GATHERING rather than a Rally.
But generally when likeminded people gather, great things can take place. There is no official host, but I will be glad to help if necessary. And there are a couple of others that would also.

As of a few minutes ago, there are 15 sites reserved for those dates. I have no idea if they will be part of this or just happen to be camping that weekend.

Wonder if any of my ID information will transfer from the Escape Forum? If not we have a 2014 Escape 21. We attended the rally last year in a 2014 Casita.

At first I thought you were suggesting a gathering at Gunter Hill for the days prior to or after the Green Eggs & Ham Rally, but you mean gathering at Gunter Hill instead of attending Green Eggs & Ham (which moved from Gunter Hill to a new AL park for 2020)?

The Green Eggs and Ham Rally has been cancelled so a few people are gathering at Gunter Hill for an informal gathering.

OK, I finally caught up on the news about Green Eggs & Ham and the snafu with the new campground for the 2020 rally. So we will have more informal "gatherings" this year but not the organized rally -- got it!

We've reserved Catoma Site 37 -- it was actually the pull-through site we had at our first GE&H Rally in 2017 when we couldn't back up!
