Just so all our NOG friends know, Vicki had a very smooth surgery Tuesday to remove her kidney, and the doctor says he strongly believes all the cancer was contained and removed. We'll miss this spring gathering but may be at Maryhill, for those of you who are going there.
cheers will we see you again
Ian

As of 6:00 pm, April 2, there are four empty spaces in the west loop for Friday-though-Monday. There are some eggs in that loop, including ours, but I think not the majority.

Julie and I just picked up our new to us 2004 Scamp 13' on Friday, so we will be coming to the NOG rally in a few weeks. I've reserved site 40 in the west loop. We are looking forward to meeting everyone and learning more about camping in a Scamp!

I see that the RV pads are now fully booked for the Saturday, and there is only one Friday night pad available.

Two weeks and we'll be on our way. Going to leave Thursday and arrive Friday. Anybody know if the Olympia (possibly Lacey) Walmart allows overnight parking?

Thank you Bill. I have looked at several sources that don't list the Walmart as no overnighting, so that seems promising. I found an old thread on another forum that indicates that Cabela's was forced by the city not to allow it.

Those have got to be the most convoluted sentences I have written in years.

Anyway, unless I find out different, we'll go for the Walmart. But that morning, I am going to Cabela's, since I have never been to one.

If that fails, there is a state park 20 miles on.

Thanks again.

Going to Cabela's Ron, means you need to put a padlock on your wallet first

Didn't sleep last night. About four hours total. Anyone else notice the amount of junk on late night TV? Some of the infomercial are a real hoot!

There is also two places at the Marvin Rd exit, near Lacey to park. There is a casino right at the exit. We had to park there once when plans changed and there was not problem. There is also a Costco at that exit with a gas station and we have seen trailers parking there overnight.

Lets work on the weather

Holding my breath but as of this am Accu Weather says Dry Thur, Fri, Sat with H20 on Sunday. Do not want to use the R word. Warming as well. The whole west coast is ready for and end to this R stuff.

Donna, I have never been to a get together before. In the photo's of events it looks like you do a bunch of pot lucks. Is this true, or does everyone just bring their own lunch/dinnner and get together to eat? Thanks
