As long as I host the NOGs, they'll always be open to everyone, all brands and any type of camping style. These all-molded-towables is what brings us together, but it truly IS about the people.

I find rallies to be self-leveling. Once you step away from the camp sites... like at the pot lucks, unless you know someone individually you have no clue what someone is using to sleep in... tent OR trailer, brand or length. That's when you find out how little it matters, and it is about the people.

Safe travels, always.

Oh, the shame I felt when I showed up with my temporary sticky trailer.

Though I did get some friendly ribbing, I was certainly welcomed and had a wonderful time.

That's because I had you listed on the participants list as an SOB.

WAIT, I meant your trailer was an SOB (Some Other Brand)

Carolyn N: you'll be most welcome. I listed the dates wrong: it's September 21 and 22, Friday and Saturday. My calendar requires I stand up, walk two feet and lift some pages...apparently it was too much for me to check before I typed.

Hope to see you and everyone else who cares to come! Wish for good weather, bring a pop-up, and carry a rain poncho.

BEST
Kai

Going to try to make it to that event this year with an FGRV, hopefully done and road ready

k corbin,

That would be super.

It's my ambition, too, to arrive with an FGRV done and road ready.

We're going to check on a doggy sitter for at least Nimble...if she's too bad I may have to stay here with her. If I cannot come, Paul will be the host...he's every ounce as inept as I am!

BEST,
Kai

Trailer: Former 1978 Trillium 4500 owner (now 2010 R-pod)

We have had two FG trailers and an Rpod and have been to multiple rally’s for both and can confirm that ALL have been very friendly groups. Although we no longer have the Rpod we still keep in touch through their Facebook group and wouldn’t hesitate to attend another rally of either group. I also took my Trillium to a classic car show just this past weekend and it was as popular as any of the 300 cars in attendance.

I took a stick trailer to the Spring Hill (AR) rally one time, and I felt welcome. A couple of the folks wanted to see inside my trailer, too, and they ooh'd and ahh'd about the interior.
