Cobb Cooking on Facebook

Hi guys... it's been a while since a post. Something about moving from a three story Victorian (1902) into a two story Victorian (1870) and a three bay garage into a tiny one.

But I digress...

There's a new cooking group over on Facebook for folks that like the Cobb Grill! Check out and join:

https://www.facebook.com/groups/cobbcooking

I'm an admin, so if you're cool here... you're cool there. It's a "closed" group so we can keep out the crazies.

We just used ours for the first time this past weekend and we LOVE it!!! Was also our maiden trip in our Scamp. Other than getting to the campground and discovering they had the water shut off, things went well. But we sure want to learn how to use that cooker to better advantage. Next trip is in 2 1/2 weeks. . So I pushed the join button on FB.

We've loved taking the Cobb in our Scamp. We'll shop at a farmer's market in the morning, have a delicious roast in the evening, and wonderful leftovers for a couple of days.

Looks like I need to do some internet surfing for "Cobb cooker" I've been so focused on getting the water, and the solar wiring I totally forgot about the fun part ... Actually camping

We have some threads here on Cobb cooking, too. It was here I first heard of them...

Pulled-pork cooked on the Cobb Grill.

Cobb Cooker.

Sourdough Bread on the Cobb.

Paella on the Cobb Grill.

Question for Cobb Cookers.

... Plus, there's more ...

Doggone it now you got me going too. I love Pinterest and did a search on Cobb Cookers and there was tons of stuff on it with recipes etc. Now I too have to try it.
