Dutch oven, thawed frozen dinner rolls, let rolls rise to at least double size, dip rolls in butter, place in Dutch oven, layers o.k., sprinkle layer with vanilla pudding mix (the kind you have to cook, not the instant pudding) that has cinnamon & nutmeg mixed in, sprinkle chopped pecans or walnuts, put another layer of biscuits on top and sprinkle pudding mix & nuts, keep layering & sprinkling biscuits until Dutch oven 3/4 full (one layer on bottom is o.k., too), let rise, bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes or until done. One layer takes a shorter time. Biscuits have a slight vanilla taste and are very good. Marg in NW California

Marg,
I make a very similar recipe in a one piece tube pan (angel food cake pan) that fits inside a deep 12" Dutch oven.

Easy Pull-Apart Breakfast Bread

3/4 cup pecans, chopped
18 frozen dough rolls (Bridgford or Rhoads parkerhouse)
1/2 cup butter - melted
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 package (4 oz) vanilla pudding mix - not instant

Butter or grease bottom of pan and sprinkle pecans on bottom. Stack and arrange frozen rolls evenly in pan. Mix melted butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, & dry pudding mix. Pour mixture over frozen rolls. Cover with tea towel and let stand at room temperature overnight. Bake in 350 degree F. oven for 25 minutes (or Dutch oven). Cool in pan for 10 minutes, then invert on plate and serve. We have a family tradition of having this Christmas morning.
