Does anyone use these in their Eggs?? I see they only draw 1-2 amps per hour bout the same as a small stereo or TV. So not bad if the Eggs also recharging as it is being used. Or let it cook at night and re heat the next day.

Don't use any of these myself, but I have met several 18-wheel drivers that use them when they travel. Nothing but good comments and recommendations.

Typically don't use a slow cooker when camping...but then again, I most often camp by myself. However, I own three in progressively larger sizes and use them ALOT in the winter time in the house. I do use the largest slow cooker when camping with a fiberglass group. It's excellent for preparing a meal to share at a pot luck.

Yes, I really like 'em, and the power draw isn't bad. If the little guy (Kempton) and I were out canoeing most of the day we'd come back to some nice Chili, smothered steak, or hamburger soup, some of my slow cooker favs. I find they kill any flavour in chicken dishes though

We have one of these samll (1.6 quart) crockpots in our trailer.

It's just big enough to make two huge bowls of bean or vegetable soup. We combine the soup with a green salad, some fresh French bread and a bottle of wine... aaaaahhhhhh.

Doesn't that wilt the lettuce?

(Sorry, but somebody was bound to say that. Figgered it might as well be me this time.)
