Trailer: 19 ft Scamp 19 ft 5th Wheel Dlx / 2001 Ford Ranger 4x4

1 ( 3lb) whole chicken cut into pieces
1 ( 12fluid ounce) can cola flavored carbonated beverage
14 oz ketchup

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350 ( 175 degrees C)
Mix the cola and ketchup in a 9 x 13 baking dish
Add the chicken peices, turning to coat well
Bake skin side down for the 30 min
Turn and bake for an additional 30 min
Cool or 10 min and serve.

I made this using deboned breasts and thighs. The end result was excellent, although we Texans like our BBQ with a little more ZIP! This, along with the Restaurant Coleslaw and the Crockpot "Baked" Beans provided a filling and satisfying meal.

I use to teach my Boys Scouts a very similar dish with Pork Chops and cooked in a Dutch Oven.

We called it [b]Bar-B-Qued Pork Chops. Ours also had some “What-this-here-sauce” (say it real fast).
