Trailer: No Trailer Yet

I found this recipe several years ago and we have always enjoyed it. It is great to take along on trips 1/2 cup dry nonfat milk, 1 1/4 cup quick cook oatmeal (but I use whatever I have, usually old-fashioned), 1/2 cup flaked coconut, 1/2 cup wheat germ, 1/3 cup sesame seeds (you can substitute something else in its place which I do unless I buy it by the pound which is much less expensive), 1/2 chopped dates or raisins (any dry fruit works), 1/2 cup chunky peanut butter and 1/2 cup honey. Mix. Shape into balls about the size of walnuts. Store in airtight container in the refrigerator. Keeps several weeks.

I used to make these types of things when I was a backbacker....maybe I should make some and take them the next time I go out in the trailer
