Flea Market finds

Hit the market this morning, Hit it Big!!!! Lodge 10 inch, two sixes, (used but in good shape) and a 5 qt Dutch Oven (new, in the box) w/ lip on the lid for coals. I think I will 'have' to take them all along to Wis. on the 20th. Two weeks vacation. I have the pans "cooking" in grill, all greased up, It is smoking real good.

I really appreciate people that know how to season their cookware.

I was (am) a 'chef', so i had best know how to treat good cast iron. I fired one wife who put some of my pans in dishwasher, (she should have gotten forty lashes, too)

very cool,,,i get most of my best cooking stuff from flea markets and second hand stores. it's rare i pass up the chance to cruise threw a salvation army store , or goodwill store. you get some good stuff, and the proceeds go to help folks out.
i am currently watching for a good preasure cooker,,, i'll just keep watching and a beauty will come along.

John,
there is a great pressure cooker meant for camping. I'll get Carol Ann to post the info.

Sorry but I don't have a link handy. Our pressure cooker is from GSI outdoors. It's the perfect size for two people and available in Canada from MEC or LeBaron and in the US from REI.
