Green Beer Recipe
Pam's making me a green beer, as I write this.
Thought others would like the recipe.
1. Open Red Dog beer
2. Pour in glass
3. Add two or three drops of green food coloring.
4. Stir
5. Consume
And, no, before anybody comes up with cute reply .... GREEN food coloring and RED dog beer still produces Green Beer.
And, before anybody jumps me for Red Dog beer .... We are all out of Blatz beer ... which, you may know, is the beer that make Milwaukee famous.

Why she is forcing me to drink Green beer is beyond me!
And, come to think of it, I'll bet y'all already knew the recipe, so .... never mind!

speaking of drinks you and Pam like. there is a portable (aren't all portable) blender run buy hand crank. as soon as I saw it I thought of you. Sportsmansguide.com camping & outdoor living cataloge, pg38 cost a little, but could be worth it when you boondocking.

Hey, we could even use it to mix the green food coloring and beer ... in addition to margaritas! Thanks!

More info than you really need, but it may keep your eyes off CNN.
The year was 1951, the Toronto Maple Leafs were Stanley Cup Champions, Louis Saint Laurent was Prime Minister of Canada, and the Labatt Brewing company had just launched its Pilsener Lager, setting the trend for lager beers in Canada.
Labatt Pilsner became an instant success. When it was introduced in Manitoba, the beer was nicknamed “Blue” for the color of its label and the company’s support of Winnipeg’s CFL franchise, the Blue Bombers. The nickname stuck, and eventually became the official name of the beer. Labatt Blue was launched in the US market in 1954.

Blue Beer Recipe?
So, Rick, are you saying Pam's recipe for blue beer goes something like, Open a bottle of Labatt's?
(I always preferred the Extra Stock...!)
:cblob
I always preferred the Extra if we were drinking Labatt's, that is.

>>open a bottle of Labatt Bleue
Certainly would save the expense of using all that expensive food coloring. Easier too ... one less step in the recipe.
